In mid - 2023, I transitioned to a remote role, contracted as a CD with Alpinestars as my primary client. I currently design work to support the internal creative team developing branding and communication projects: campaigns, branding, packaging, retail displays, web visual design, social media, b2b presentations, among other work.

SENIOR DIRECTOR BRAND COMMUNICATIONS

led all brand creative and communications strategy across technical product categories, including Motorcycling, MX, Auto, and Mountain Bike. Partnered closely with Product and Sales leadership to define category objectives, shape launch strategies, and drive go-to-market initiatives. Oversaw a multidisciplinary local team of 10–20 across Marketing, E-commerce, Social Media, Video, Photography, Environmental Design and Art Direction. Maintained alignment with global HQ (Italy) and regional teams to ensure a cohesive, elevated brand presence across all markets.
Directed the development of integrated campaigns, content, events, advertising, and trade tools designed to resonate with core audiences and strengthen market position.
Led a complete redesign and re-platform of the company website, restoring brand personality and perception in line with product excellence.
Launched a global brand asset portal to streamline distribution of marketing collateral and enhance consistency and amplification across all trade and advertising channels.

Hired to define and drive the creative vision and brand strategy, cultivate creative excellence and build multi-disciplinary teams while nurturing a collaborative in-house culture. Collaborated closely with remote regional offices, creative agencies, sales, product, retail, dealer, and marketing teams to oversee the entire creative process—ensuring Fox’s Go-to-Market deliverables were on-brand, timely, original, and strategically aligned.
Held full responsibility for brand management, including brand guidelines, online and offline advertising, customer and dealer catalogs, sales tools, brand presentations, website design and content, retail and trade environments, and grassroots branding/collateral. Managed the global creative budget and departmental headcount, overseeing internal marketing and creative teams spanning design, photo studio, content development, and video, along with all external agency partners. Collaborated in product planning and messaging for all national and global sales and marketing meetings.

Lead the strategic creative development team, collaborating closely with the product and sales teams that was responsible for all visual design and content development worldwide. Directed the strategic creative effort of all key marketing initiatives for product, athletes, sales and retail globally, aligning brand vision and message (globally consistent, regionally relevant). Managed a staff of 12 (Print/Visual Design, and Photo) and was financially responsible for a significant portion of the marketing creative budget.
With massive growth in those years the company and the department was restructured. The later role as CD for Snow and Action Sports. In this new role I was responsible for all global creative, concept to customer, online and offline in product categories of Snowboarding, Surfing, BMX, Moto and Auto. My team was responsible for the successful execution of all creative direction this included all packaging, print and online advertising, video, website design, dealer catalogs, retail and trade pop/signage, sales tools and brand presentation decks.

Branded the agency and built an in-house boutique creative division. Responsible for all agency marketing and brand development, creative leadership, pitching new business, account communication, art and photographic licensing and consulting. In charge of providing conceptual to production direction in the areas of advertising, photography, website design, packaging and other forms of marketing collateral. Managed a staff of 3-5 and external resources cultivating creative excellence.

Managed the Snowboarding athlete programs while splitting time as a designer for all advertising and marketing communications collateral for the Doors, Dub and DC brands.
Served as the Team Manager for DC Snowboarding and Dub Outerwear arranging and coordinating athlete travel, contract negotiations, managed promotional budgets and traveled with the team photographing them on editorial, company and distributor initiatives. Responsible for the design, production and delivery of all: print advertising, catalogs, POP, and other marketing collateral. As the growth of the company soared, was promoted to an art director, responsible for the direction of the DC brand. Lead the efforts to put DC online, designing and developing their very first website.

PHOTOGRAPHER / TEAM MANAGER / GRAPHIC DESIGNER

A former client to employer, the original role was that of a Photographer/Team Manager. Photographed the brands’ marketing efforts in print advertising, catalogs, and editorial content. Traveled with the team on film trips, distributor initiatives, and tours. Coordinated the athlete’s travel and promotional orders. The role quickly changed with the education in graphic design. Responsibilities elevated to include the graphic design of the snowboard line, soft goods line, print advertising, catalogs, collateral, and management and training of 2 direct reports. Directed the efforts with outside artists and agencies from concept to production of art to snowboard graphics.
